Would you like to see some of the breathtakingly beautiful books that Yale University Press has published in the past year, as well as books we’ve co-published with or distributed for many of the world’s most prestigious art museums?

Are you a fan of Sonic Youth and would like to have a signed copy of Thurston Moore’s new chapbook of lyrics, The Best Day?  Have you just returned from your voyage on the Hurtigruten, and would thrill to see a curated collection of art books from 23 Norwegian booksellers, institutions, artists, and independent publishers?  Are antiquarian books your thing, or do you collect the hippest, underground zines?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should make your way to MoMA PS1 in Queens, New York this weekend for the ninth annual New York Art Book Fair, presented by Printed Matter.  You’ll be in good, like-minded company: more than 27,000 people visited the Fair last fall.  This is a bustling, rousing, provocative, and entertaining event, featuring publishers of all stripes of art publication, music, workshops, and food and drink from the M. Wells Dinette.

Yale University Press will be there, at table U03.  (Thurston Moore will be signing books on Thursday evening at 7pm, at Printed Matter’s table in the lobby… he’ll also perform.)

See you in Long Island City.
