Kafka Caption Contest Rules

Follow @yalebooks on Instagram and submit a caption in the comments of one of the eight Kafka drawings in our Instagram feed, using the hashtag #KafkaCaptionContest. Up to one entry per drawing will be selected to win a copy of Franz Kafka: The Drawings, edited by Andreas Kilcher and Pavel Schmidt, translated by Kurt Beals, and with contributions by Judith Butler. The winning captions, those deemed most original and clever, will be selected by contest co-judges Andreas Kilcher and Judith Butler.

The closing date for entry to the contest will be June 13th, 2022. Entries must be received no later than 5:00pm (US EDT) on the closing date.

Limit one entry per person or Instagram account—you may not submit an entry for more than one drawing. To enter you must be a resident of the United States or the United Kingdom, at least 18 years old, and have a public Instagram account. Winners will be messaged through Instagram and asked for a valid shipping address. The prize is non-transferrable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative in whole or in part.
