As one of the world’s most esteemed art and architecture publishers, Yale University Press has books to captivate the art scholar, artist, student, enthusiast, and collector. Our publishing program includes beautiful exhibition catalogues issuing from the world’s finest museums, important and diverse monographs, critical anthologies, catalogues raisonnés, and much more.
Our booth at the annual CAA conference typically showcases every art and architecture book that Yale University Press has published or distributed since the previous year’s conference. While we can’t show you all of these extraordinary books in person, we’re pleased to offer conference attendees a 30% discount on a wide range of recent art and architecture books. We’ve illustrated a selection of these exemplary publications below; please download our order form to browse the full list of discounted titles.
We extend special congratulations to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, the Williams College Museum of Art and the New Britain Museum of American Art, whose books Joan Mitchell (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art), Hung Liu: Portraits of Promised Lands (National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution), and Strict Beauty: Sol LeWitt Prints (Williams College Museum of Art and New Britain Museum of American Art) are all finalists for CAA’s prestigious Alfred H. Barr Jr. Award. Equally enthusiastic congratulations to our author Monica Bravo, whose book Greater American Camera: Making Modernism in Mexico is a finalist for the Charles Rufus Morey Book Award.
When we lamented last year the missed opportunities to gather at CAA, to see a full year of our books arrayed across our booth in the exhibit hall, to peruse the beautiful volumes at our fellow publishers’ booths, and—especially—to meet with you in person, we didn’t imagine we would experience the same disappointment in 2022. We really hope to see you at the CAA conference in 2023.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us. Editorial queries can be directed to either Katherine Boller or Amy Canonico. Other questions can be directed to Jessica Holahan.
Special offer: Save 30% on select titles with code Y22ART through April 19, 2022.
